1. 24 But if you are all prophesying and an unbeliever or an ordinary person comes in, he will be reproved and closely examined by them all.

24 लेकिन अगर तुम सभी भविष्यवाणी करते हो और कोई अविश्वासी या आम इंसान अंदर आता है, तो तुम सबकी बातों से उसका सुधार होगा और उसकी बारीकी से जाँच होगी।

2. One writer puts it this way: “Never are we in greater peril of undue self-assertion, and therefore in greater need of meekness, than in reproving others.”

एक लेखक इस तरह लिखता है: “अकसर दूसरों को सुधारते वक्त अपनी बात बड़े ही ज़ोरदार तरीके कहने का खतरा रहता है, तो ऐसे वक्त पर कोमलता दिखाना बहुत ज़रूरी हो जाता है।”

3. We read: “The discipline of Jehovah, O my son, do not reject; and do not abhor his reproof, because the one whom Jehovah loves he reproves, even as a father does a son in whom he finds pleasure.”

4. The Bible foretold that Jesus would not “reprove simply according to the thing heard by his ears” —or as the Contemporary English Version renders it, he “won’t . . . listen to rumors.”

5. 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord; and he shall not ajudge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears.
